Somatic Coaching
Learning to live from the inside out

What is somatic coaching?
There are different somatic coaching approaches. What they have in common: They inspire (more) body awareness. As a coachee, you learn to (better) perceive your body and pay attention to physical changes in everyday life.
What is an example of somatic practices?
In a somatic coaching session gentle somatic exercises of breathing and movement are incorporated to inspire body awareness. The following questions are examples of how those exercises are accompanied to invite reflection. In a somatic coaching session, such questions are also used during phases of talking to invite a deeper somatic understanding of your experience.

-
When does your body contract?
-
When does your breathing relax?
-
Where and how do you feel rejection in your body?
-
Where and how do you feel joy in your body?
-
What do you need so that your body and your breath can relax?
Somatic Coaching: Find your inner compass
In a somatic coaching, you learn to perceive your body impulses mindfully, to accept them compassionately, to observe them curiously, to regulate them with self-empathy and to use them effectively as an inner compass for your actions, decisions and communication in everyday life. Body impulses thus become an inner compass.
