About Theresa Keller
Somatic Coach, Yoga Teacher and
founder of within&without berlin
Hey, I'm Theresa (she/her).
I love the smell of tomatoes from the garden.
I love pink-orange-violet sunsets.
I love deep talk.
I love to walk barefoot.
I love dancing.
I love presence.
I love to be near water.
I love to listen.
I'm a Somatic Coach and Yoga Teacher. I am passionate about holistic well-being, conscious leadership & new work, non-violent communication, sustainability and about system change in different areas of our lives.
I am a coach and a student at the same time and have been dedicated to my own healing path for many years. At within&without berlin I am inspiring, empowering and guiding others who set up on their own journey.

My core values that I live and work by are love and freedom. With those in my heart I have created within&without berlin as a space to inspire you to create home and harmony within and around yourself.

What guides me is my vision to do my part in co-creating personal and collective transformation for a humane and regenerative future. As Rilke puts it: "...I may not complete this last one. but I will give myself to it."

Outer change needs inner transformation
The name "within&without berlin" didn't come easy. It was a process. Back in 2021 I was looking for a name for my solo-business that would reflect my work around mindful being, mindful movement and mindful self-leadership. Only after I had stopped thinking my way through and I had started surrendering to the process it all emerged.

About Me.
Up until my 20’s I was doing ballet and modern dance and then found yoga, 5 rhythm/intuitive dance, pranayama and meditation as my personal practice that inspired my life, trainings and work.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) was founded by Marshall Rosenberg and comes from humanistic psychology. It is also called "language of life". NVC is a concrete communication technique with four steps but much more than that it is an inner attitude in how we relate to ourselves and others.
Theory U is a change management method that has been developed by Otto Scharmer. Theory U is about leading from the emerging future: The model is depicted as a “U” shape. The left side stands for the stages of sensing and letting go. The bottom of the "U" represents the stage of presencing (a state of being fully open and present). The right side represents the stages of creating and embodying new solutions.
New Work describes the structural change in our working world. One of its core influential innovators is Frédéric Laloux with his framework in his book "Reinventing Organisations. New Work is more than just an organizational development model: It's about inner change, a regenerative mindset, self-leadership and new leadership.
I have been trained as a Somatic Coach based on Integrative Yoga Psychology. Integrative Yoga Psychology is a somatic mindfulness practice and holistic coaching method for mental health and emotional health. Founders and lead teachers: Pia Witthöft, Martin Witthöft (Author of the book: "Verkörperter Wandel. Die Praxis der Integrativen Yogapsychologie"); Guest teachers (among others): Anna Trökes from Prana Yoga Berlin; Marion Evers from Somatische Akademie Berlin, Nina Wehnert from Body-Mind-Zentrierung®.
Anusara Yoga is a modern formof Hatha Yoga. It emphasises alignment, heart-centred philosophy (based on Hindu Shaiva Tantra philosophy) and the celebration of the intrinsic goodness of each human. The lead teacher of my training at Stambha Yoga Zurich was Ezgi Taslidere Fisher.
6-month online course „Betriebliches Umweltmanagement und Umweltökonomie“ at University Koblenz
Vinyasa Yoga is a form of a dynamic yoga asana practice. The lead teacher of my training at Shivasloft Yoga was Kevin Beavers.
Supervision: My Coaching is being supported and guided by a regular supervision at the Institute of Yoga Psychology Berlin.

Other trainings/seminars/intensives (among others): "Exploring the Role of Yoga & Yoga Therapy in Eating Disorder Recovery" mit Dr. Jennifer Kreatsoulas, „Yogatherapy for Eating Disorders and Trauma (Body Image, trauma-sensitive Yoga and Mindfulness for Eating Disorders“ with Inga Bohnekamp, "Erotic Ecology and its implications for Integrative Yoga Psychology“ seminar with biologist and philosopher Dr. Andreas Weber, Restorative Yoga Therapy with Suze Reterra and Montserrat G. Mukherjee (The Yoga Therapy Institute, Amsterdam), "Strength and Grace" with Barbra Noh, "Re-connect. Yoga und Ayurveda" with Marjorie Favre

University degrees: I hold a Master of Science in International Business Management and Strategic Marketing from Maastricht University (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from University of Wales in Cardiff (2008).
(Corporate) work experience: More than 12 years of work experience in different management- and team lead positions in global companies and NGOs have shaped my awareness of the importance to take individual and collective responsibility in the transformation towards a more regenerative future. Outer change needs inner transformation.

Cultural Appreciation and Politics
During my Yoga-, Yoga Psychology- and Feng Shui trainings/studies I was and am aware that I am granted insight into ancient teachings and philosophies which stem from another culture. I know that I am looking at those from a lens of a different — white and Western — culture. I am immersing myself in those treasures with reverence and appreciation. Being aware of their origins I am doing my best to understand, to internalize and to teach, coach and write from a place of deep thankfulness.
I am also aware of my white privilege and I am doing what I can to create a safe space for all humans that I have the joy to guide on their way.
"There is a dance only you can do, that exists only in you, here and now, always changing, always true.
Are you willing to listen with fascination?
If you are it will deliver you unto the self you have always dreamed you could be.
This is a promise."
Gabrielle Roth, Founder of 5 rhythms dance
