Feng Shui: the art of slow living

Feng Shui (pronounced „fung shway“) is the art and craft of harmonizing energies. Feng Shui is like acupuncture for a space: It can create ease and balance for the body, mind and soul. To me, Feng Shui is the philosophy of slow living: being present and connected to yourself and your surrounding and creating spaces that are nurturing and feel like a hug.

The meaning of Feng Shui

Feng Shui means „like wind and water“. It is rooted in the Chinese philosophy Taoism (also spelled Daoism) which is over 3.000 years old. Wind and water both stand for good health. Thus, Feng Shui symbolises ‚good fortune‘ that you can intentionally invite into your life. Feng Shui creates flow and harmony of the life energy Qi, leveraging the positive energies and minimizing the negative influences. When Qi is harmonized all areas of life can come into flow.

A philosophy of pulsating opposites: yin&yang and the cycle of 5 elements

Feng Shui calls upon the universal pulsating principle of yin&yang as well as the natural elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water to create harmonious spaces. Feng Shui can bring beauty, clarity, liveliness and mindfulness into your life and your surrounding whether it's a home, therapy room, yoga studio or an office.

Feng Shui for harmonious being, living and working: Discover the power of the Feng Shui principles

Feng Shui is like a well composed symphony or choreography: When you enter a space that is designed according to Feng Shui you feel the harmony of the surrounding: you feel at ease and want to linger.

  • Feng Shui can create a home that is much more than a shelter: a space of clarity and relaxation, harmony, self expression and beauty.

  • Feng Shui can create a healing/wellness space (like doctor’s office, a therapy room or a yoga studio) that is much more than a place of being treated or practicing movement/meditation: a safe space of feeling held and nourished.

  • Feng Shui can create a business space (like an office or a retail space) that is much more than a place of generating turnover: a space of co-creation and innovation, learning and (sustainable) growth, inspiration and community.

Individual Feng Shui consultation in Berlin and online: This is how Feng Shui can support you

In today's world that often feels chaotic and stressful Feng Shui can offer principles of slow being. Whether your space is a home, therapy room, yoga space or an office – Feng Shui can support you in various situations, for example:

  • You want inspiration in terms of Feng Shui colour consulting and Feng Shui interior design.

  • Your space is lacking coziness or authenticity and you want inspiration and support.

  • Some areas of your life/business feel stuck and you want to invite clarity, ease and flow.

  • You are in a transition phase and you want to create harmony in your surrounding.

  • You are in the process of building/buying/renting a new space and you want to incorporate Feng Shui into your decision making and interior design.

  • For therapy spaces and offices: you are aware of the effects of a surrounding on humans and want to turn your space into a place where you and your team members / clients / patients feel at ease.
